The roof collapsed in the psycho-neurological boarding school near Kolomna

In building No. 3 of the Kolychev psycho-neurological boarding school near Kolomna, near Moscow, the roof was partially formed.

As a source told Izvestia, at the time of the collapse, workers were knocking icicles off the roof and cleaning the snow, which could have caused the collapse.

The roof area is approximately 240 sq. m partially fell on the ceiling of the attic. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

Building No. 3 housed 170 people with mental illness.

Due to the emergency state of some premises of the building, approximately 50 patients will be sent to the Yegoryevsk Psychoneurological Boarding School, and some to the Kurovskaya PNI. The rest will be settled on the spot.

Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that in one of the multi-storey residential buildings of the city of Dolgoprudny near Moscow, a ceiling sagging from smudges collapsed on the head of an elderly woman. Anzhelika, a resident of the house, said in an interview with REN TV that employees of the management company came to inspect the collapsed ceiling, but did not take any measures.
