Aircraft photographers captured two new fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jets at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk. This was reported on Friday, February 4, in the BMPD LiveJournal blog.
It is noted that the landing of aircraft at the airport of Novosibirsk is intermediate. The new Su-57s have been built at the plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur and are on their way to bases in the European part of Russia.
On December 31, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) announced that it was increasing production of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters. Also, one of the results of the year in the UAC was the demonstration of a prototype of a new light single-engine fighter Checkmate at air shows.
On July 28, Nikita Dorofeev, head of the cockpit department at the Sukhoi Design Bureau, said that in the future, the pilot of the Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter will be able to control the aircraft with eye movements or voice. Despite the complexity of such a system, since the pupil of a person unconsciously constantly moves, its prototype already exists, Dorofeev pointed out.
Su-57 is a Russian multifunctional promising fifth-generation fighter. It was created using stealth technologies and is capable of combating any enemy fighters, as well as destroying enemy ground and surface targets.
