The husband of the murdered “Miss Kuzbass-2010” showed the burial place of her body

There was a video from the place of discovery of the body of “Miss Kuzbass-2010” Ksenia Sapozhkova, in whose murder her husband is suspected.

The place of burial of the body was shown to the investigators by Alexander Popov himself, who confessed to the crime. As he told law enforcement officers, he buried his wife in the forest 3.5 km from their common house.

The published footage shows that the body was buried in a dense forest near the sanatorium in New Moscow, there are practically no passers-by.

Earlier, Izvestia’s source said that her husband had killed the winner of the Miss Kuzbass 2010 contest during a quarrel.

On February 4, in the forest belt on the territory of New Moscow, the police found the body of Sapozhkova, in whose murder her husband is suspected. According to Izvestia, the woman’s body was not dismembered, as previously reported.

The 36-year-old man reported the disappearance of his wife on January 11. He said that the woman flew to Dubai and no longer got in touch. At the same time, according to the investigation, the woman has not crossed the border since the day of the disappearance. Posts on Instagram on her behalf were published by her husband, in addition, he also answered messages from friends and relatives from her page.

On January 31, the man confessed that he had killed his wife. Then he said that he dismembered the body, tied it with stones and threw it into the Desna River. The divers who worked on the spot did not find the body of the murdered woman. Subsequently, the suspect began to deny guilt and refused to testify against himself. On the same day, Popov was arrested.

As an acquaintance of Sapozhkova told Izvestia, from the outside it seemed that love and harmony reigned in this family. She stressed that it was difficult for her to believe that Popov was involved in the death of his wife.
