A truck body rammed an elevated pedestrian crossing in the Moscow region, after which the building collapsed onto the cab of a dump truck.
The accident occurred on Saturday, February 5, on the 30th km of the Gorky Highway near Novaya Derevnya.
According to eyewitnesses, the body of the truck was raised, which other road users tried unsuccessfully to signal to the driver of the dump truck.
As a result of the incident, traffic on the highway was blocked in both directions.
Currently, all the circumstances of the incident are being established, the condition of the driver of the dump truck is still unknown.
On January 20, a truck with a raised body at speed flew into a pedestrian bridge in Balashikha near Moscow, no one was injured. According to Izvestia, part of the elevated pedestrian crossing was torn off the support from the impact. Now the bridge is closed for passage due to repair work.
