The cargo board was heading from Moscow to Leipzig, but shortly after climbing the landing gear malfunction sensors went off on the aircraft, after which the crew decided to return to the departure air harbor. In connection with an emergency landing, the forces of the capital’s fire and rescue garrison were sent to Sheremetyevo.
