A man in Moscow shot his brother several times and then committed suicide. The incident occurred against the backdrop of a quarrel on the night of February 5-6 in the east of the capital. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the murder. On February 7, the Moscow agency was informed about this by the senior assistant to the head of the Main Directorate of the TFR for the city, Yulia Ivanova.
“A criminal case is being investigated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30 h. 1 tbsp. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attempted murder”),” said the interlocutor of the agency.
According to the investigation, there was a domestic quarrel between two brothers who were in an apartment in Pogonny proezd. Then it escalated into a fight and an armed conflict. As a result, one of the brothers fired several shots from a firearm at the other, after which he fled.
The victim was hospitalized in critical condition. Soon, in another district of Moscow, the body of a suspect was found; according to preliminary data, he committed suicide.
Earlier, on February 5, a criminal case was initiated in the city of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk Region, on the death of a two-year-old girl. Her mother’s roommate is suspected of killing the child. On the night of February 4, a man, during a conflict with a cohabitant, tried to stab her with a knife, at that moment a two-year-old daughter was in the woman’s arms. The suspect stabbed the girl. She died at the hospital as a result of her injuries.
