In Novosibirsk, until February 11, a regime of adverse weather conditions or a “black sky” regime was announced due to harmful impurities in the atmosphere. This was reported on February 7 on the website of the West Siberian Hydrometeorological Service.
“In the period from 17:00 (13:00 Moscow time) on February 7 to 17:00 on February 11, 2022, meteorological conditions are expected in Novosibirsk that are unfavorable for the dispersion of harmful impurities in the atmospheric air. Unfavorable weather conditions of the first degree of danger are being announced,” the statement said.
Similar weather conditions remain until 18:00 (14:00 Moscow time) on February 9 in Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk and Prokopyevsk. Businesses are encouraged to reduce their emissions.
In Krasnoyarsk and Minusinsk, until February 4, the “black sky” regime was in effect. On February 3, Krasnoyarsk recorded an excess of hygiene standards for nitrogen oxide from 1.1 to 1.7 times, for nitrogen dioxide – from 2.8 to 3.5 times, for carbon monoxide – 1.1 times. In Minusinsk, the maximum permissible concentration for suspended solids was exceeded by 3 times, for carbon monoxide – by 1.8 times.
