In the village of Sharlyk, Orenburg region, on Frunze Street, under the pressure of snow, the roof in a two-story apartment building sank. As a result, two window openings of the apartment were destroyed and four were damaged. This was announced on Tuesday, February 8, by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region.

Representatives of emergency services and the village administration conducted door-to-door tours, 16 people were evacuated, including four children. Residents of the affected house were accommodated with relatives.
According to the department, the police cordoned off the scene of the incident. Gas supply, water supply and electricity were turned off throughout the house.
Control over the condition of the residential building is carried out by the administration of the Sharlyk district. The regional commission for emergency situations will hold a meeting to examine the design of the house and the possibility of further living in it.
Earlier, on February 4, in the village of Ashukino near Moscow, the roof of a school collapsed due to snow accumulated on the roof. It collapsed over the assembly hall, the total collapse area was 700 square meters. m. By the time of the emergency, classes at the school had already ended and there were no children in the building. Thanks to this, no one was hurt.
