In the south of Moscow, a man came to the trauma department of a polyclinic and took his own life. This was announced on February 8 by a source in law enforcement agencies.
“A man entered the traumatology department of polyclinic No. 52 on Bulatnikovsky Proyezd and went into the waiting room. A few minutes later, the guard heard the sound of a shot, after which he discovered a wounded man, ”TASS reports a police report.
The man was taken to the hospital, but died a few hours later. The victim was an unemployed 75-year-old Muscovite. The police found a handgun next to the body.
There were no other visitors nearby at the time of the incident. It is noted that the waiting room is out of sight of the guards.
An investigation has been organized into the incident.
On February 7, the Main Directorate of the ICR for Moscow opened a criminal case on attempted murder. According to investigators, the man shot his brother several times and then committed suicide. The victim was hospitalized in critical condition.
