The head of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Igor Nosov, has died. This was announced on Tuesday, February 8, by the press service of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East.
“We regret to announce the sudden death of Igor Nikolaevich Nosov, CEO of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones, ”the statement says.
In an interview with RBC, two of his acquaintances specified that Nosov died due to a stroke. He ended up in intensive care without consciousness, the interlocutors said.
The corporation added that Nosov made a “significant contribution to the development of Russian regions, and above all the Far East and the Arctic.”
Igor Nosov was born on April 20, 1978. He has headed the corporation since May 2021. In 2018-2020, he served as Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, previously as General Director of Innopolis Special Economic Zone JSC.
