A taxi driver who became one of the participants in a mass accident in the west of Moscow, in which several cars collided, told on Tuesday, February 8, the details of what happened.
According to the man, everything happened suddenly. His car was hit last, almost immediately after he dropped off a passenger.
“In the accident, I received the very last blow, and it is not clear who was the first. I don’t know who could be the culprit in this situation. There are cameras, they will look, then they will say. The car was damaged, I was not. A man just got out of my car, ”the taxi driver said in an interview with the Zvezda TV channel.
Earlier that day, nine cars collided on Rublevsky Highway near the intersection with Kastanaevskaya Street.
Russian businessman, billionaire Alexei Shepel, told Izvestia that he had been injured in a mass accident and was in the hospital. According to the businessman, he had a heart attack and is in intensive care, according to the website aif.ru.
There is evidence that Shepel was in a Mercedes car. In total, according to preliminary data, four people were injured in the accident.
