Over 100 water supply facilities to be built and modernized in the Moscow region by 2025

In the Moscow region, by 2025, they intend to build and modernize more than 100 water supply facilities. This was reported on Wednesday, February 9, on the website of the regional government.

According to Vice-Governor of the Moscow region Yevgeny Khromushin, within three years more than 500,000 people will be provided with clean drinking water as part of the Clean Water program. In particular, water intake units, water purification, water treatment and networks will be built.

The total amount of funding will be 8 billion rubles, half of the funds will be allocated from the federal budget under the presidential program, writes REGNUM.

Khromushin clarified that in 2022, high-quality and clean drinking water will begin to flow into the homes of over 77 thousand residents of the Moscow Region, writes RIAMO.

“Our priority for this year is to additionally provide clean drinking water to residents of urban districts: Lotoshino, Mozhaisky, Pushkinsky, Solnechnogorsk, Taldomsky. In Pushkino, we have already begun designing water supply facilities,” the vice-governor said.

He specified that more than 30 water supply facilities are planned to be put into operation this year. Khromushin added that over the past few years, the region has improved the quality of water supply for more than 2 million residents from 48 urban districts, the 360 ​​TV channel notes. To this end, more than 400 water supply facilities were built and modernized in the Moscow region.

In January, gastroenterologist Nuria Dianova spoke about the benefits of drinking water on an empty stomach. The doctor noted that drinking water on an empty stomach really has a beneficial effect on the body. At the same time, it is important that it be at room temperature, and in the presence of abdominal pain – even warmer.
