The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a possible crash of the An-2 aircraft in Kamchatka

The An-2 plane, presumably, crashed in Kamchatka. This was announced on Friday, February 11, in the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

“In the afternoon of February 11, information was received from eyewitnesses who observed the fall of the An-2 light aircraft near the village of Koryaki, Yelizovsky district,” the ministry said.

Rescuers from the fire station in the village of Koryaki, the fire station in the village of Lesnoy, the Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the personnel of one of the military units went to the site of the alleged crash. The situation is being specified.

In January, an Aeroprakt A-22 light aircraft crashed in the Altai Territory while on a sightseeing flight. Upon the fact of the crash, a criminal case was opened under the article on violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of air transport. Twenty-four emergency workers and six pieces of equipment were involved in work at the scene.
