“According to the data posted in the media, on February 11, 2022, as a result of a snow mass, presumably, a 46-year-old man was injured from the roof of the house No. 16 on Mezhdunarodnaya Street in the city of Saratov. The victim has been hospitalized in a medical facility,” the statement said.
Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, after which they will give an objective legal assessment of the actions of those responsible for removing snow and ice from the facade and roof of the house.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that a block of ice had fallen on a mother with a two-year-old girl in St. Petersburg. The child received a head injury. The mother has bruises on her head, neck, back and arms.
Also on Friday in Moscow, a block of snow fell on a stroller with a seven-month-old baby. According to Izvestia, leaving the store, the mother put her son in the stroller, which was on the porch, and opened its hood. At that moment, snow fell on the child from the roof. The woman and her son were hospitalized. Doctors diagnosed the boy with multiple bruises of the abdomen and chest.
