Brain training
Will all students who have put the mathematics matura this year will deal with exponential functions and integral calculation in their later life? Quite certainly not. Is it good that you did it at school? Quite certainly already because mathematics is brain training.
She teaches us to think analytically, to remain disciplined if something does not work right away – this should certainly occur when trying to solve mathematical tasks – and it helps us to develop our thoughts, and it helps us to develop better capabilities for problem solving. All skills that also do not harm in other areas of life that have nothing to do with mathematics.

Insufficient
We learn not for life, but for school. ” If you look at the tasks of this year’s Mathematics Matura, this famous quotation seems more current than ever.
The students are overcrowded with information so that they lose their desire to math. It would be far more important if everyone after the school career would have things like a percentage calculations, recognize nonsensical numbers, estimate or master the solving of everyday tasks. Logical thinking and arguing are currently falling by the wayside.
