Farewell to People’s Artist of the RSFSR Zinaida Kiriyenko will take place on February 15 at 11:00 Moscow time at the Central House of Cinematographers (CDC) in Moscow. This was announced on February 12 by Deputy Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kalinin.
According to him, the ceremony will be held in the Great Hall of the Central House of Artists.
“The burial is at the Troekurovsky cemetery,” Kalinin is quoted by TASS.
The death of People’s Artist of the RSFSR Zinaida Kiriyenko became known on the morning of February 12. On February 10, she was hospitalized in one of the Moscow clinics. For some time at home, the woman lost consciousness, after which her relatives called an ambulance.
Doctors diagnosed the actress with acute cerebrovascular accident, the actress suffered a stroke due to the coronavirus.

In 1958 she graduated from VGIK. In the same year, she began to play on large stages: the Moscow Drama Theater named after Alexander Pushkin, the Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya and the Film Actor Theater Studio, where she worked for more than 30 years since 1961.
The actress gained all-Union fame after playing the role of Natalya in the film of her teacher Sergei Gerasimov “Quiet Don”.
Kiriyenko is also known for her roles in the films “The Fate of a Man”, “Earthly Love”, “Love in Russian – 2” and many others.
