A fire in a two-story private house on the night of February 13 claimed the lives of six people, including four children. According to the rescuers of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the fire engulfed the building throughout the area.
“At the time of the arrival of the first fire and rescue unit, a burning of a private house with an open fire was observed. As a result of the fire, a private house was damaged by fire throughout the area. The total fire area was 70 square meters. m,” the department said.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that the cause of the fire could be non-compliance with fire safety rules during the operation of the heating furnace or a short circuit in the wiring.
The prosecutor’s office of the Suntarsky district organized an investigation into the circumstances of the fire. The District Attorney went to the scene. Employees of the department will assess the living conditions of people and the reasons that could contribute to their death.
