Two girls and two boys under the age of 10 died in a fire in a private house in the city of Yuryevets (Ivanovo region). This was reported on February 13 in the press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established. Data on the parents of children and their location is also not yet available.
The fire area was 50 square meters. m. Firefighters arrived a few minutes after the call.
As specified in the management of the Investigative Committee for the Ivanovo region, children of one, four, five and 10 years old died. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence to two or more persons).
According to preliminary data, a mother with four children lived in the burnt house, the family is characterized as dysfunctional.
Earlier, on February 13, a fire broke out in a residential building in Yakutia, killing six people, including four children. A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Causing death by negligence to two or more persons.”
