On Thursday, the “Historical Repair Plan for the Savings of the Argentines” was announced, consisting of the elimination of a series of Ark Fiscal Controls and the relaxation of informative requirements requested by the Central Bank. In a second stage a bill will be sent to the National Congress that will seek to “shield the savings of Argentines of future administrations”.
During the press conference, before the consultation of a journalist about the security of deposits that human people and companies would have in the system, the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, replied: “The most direct way is to vote well.”
Essentially, with this “plan” it is aimed at getting the dollars that the Government is needed to advance with your country project.
It occurs after a new indebtedness with the IMF, which involves a disbursement in the year of $ 15,000 million, and little to have finished the last laundering.
If the previous laundering ended last week, for which some $ 22,000 million entered in cash, why now they will enter more dollars to the formal circuit? Will it be because now the dollars who could not regularize before, since the law approved in the Parliament expressly prohibited “bleaching” drugs of drug trafficking or money laundering, and even public officials who served in the last 10 years, their relatives, etc.?
Minister Caputo mentions “people” to justify policies. It is worth asking what “people” refers. Most have no dollars, hardly enough to cover their needs. A part of “people” can have legal dollars in “the mattress”, but there is another that has them because it stopped paying taxes, at least.
This occurs within the framework of statements by the president and other officials, with whom it is about encouraging those who evaded taxes and fleeting dollars, and even talk about a “criminal state.”
The IMF Communications Director Julie Kozack warned about making decisions that could go against “align the anti -savage framework of money and terrorist financing of Argentina with international standards.”

The monetary base in April 2024 was 2.6%of GDP, and now it is 4.2%, the circulating plus deposits in view of the non -financial private sector was 6.20%, now it is 7.50%. And adding the fixed bank deadlines, 10.70% to 12.80% was passed. It is clear that pesos are not missing. Strictly speaking, what is missing are greater remuneration and decent retirements.
Labor rights in the sights
The salaries of the workers continue to verify falls in real terms. In the case of those registered, in March they had a loss of 1.2% compared to February, reaching their lowest level in six months. In particular, private registered wages fell 1.5% monthly.
According to calculations from the OJ Ferreres consultant, if the Government imposed its monthly 1% pattern, the real registered salaries would close the year with a drop in the end -to -end measurement of 6.2%.
