Five couples got married on the skating rinks at VDNH and in the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve on Valentine’s Day. The press service of the registry office announced this on Monday, February 14.
“On Valentine’s Day 2022, we decided to let more couples get married on two skating rinks in Moscow and have a real winter wedding. Today, the wedding ceremonies for two couples took place at the skating rink at VDNKh during the day, and in the evening, with romantic illumination on the ice of the skating rink in the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, three couples got married, ”the Moscow news agency quotes the message.
The press service noted that the hosts of the wedding ceremony underwent some training to register the marriage in an unusual location – a special speech was prepared and a rehearsal was held. The girls were dressed in tea-rose colored uniforms. Skates have become an obligatory attribute of the leaders.
In total, about 300 couples got married on Valentine’s Day in Moscow.
It is worth noting that Moscow took eighth place in the ranking of the most romantic cities in the world. The list was compiled based on the number of restaurants, parks, options for spending time together, attractions, romantic hotels, spas, as well as the number of photos with hashtags of the capital on Instagram and the number of posts of photos with sunsets from the city, Zvezda TV channel reports.
