According to the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate, a Renault Logan car at the entrance to a pedestrian crossing on Kalinina Street did not have time to slow down and hit a minor.
According to the driver himself, he was driving at a speed of 45 km / h, and when he saw a girl at the crossing, he tried to slow down immediately, but did not have time.
The injured girl was hospitalized. She also became a violator of traffic rules, as she was not convinced of the safety before crossing the road, the traffic police specified.
Employees of the department added that the driver was sober, but before that he had repeatedly been brought to administrative responsibility for traffic violations.
