The Moscow prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case on the fact of attempted murder after the incident on Stavropolskaya Street on February 14, where a mother threw her newborn child out of the window of the house. This was reported on February 15 by the press service of the department in the Telegram channel.
“A criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Art. 30, art. 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder by a mother of a newborn child). The course of the investigation is controlled by the Moscow prosecutor’s office,” the statement said.
According to preliminary information, the incident took place around 9:00 pm. Then a woman in her 30s, after a home birth, “put” the baby in a bag and threw it out of the window of the 4th floor. According to Izvestia, the baby survived – he was hospitalized in the Morozov hospital.
After the incident, the prosecutor’s office began to conduct an investigation. All the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
Earlier, on January 11, it became known that in the Nizhny Novgorod region, a 62-year-old drunk woman threw her two-year-old grandson out of a fifth-floor window. The child has died.
