The city administration clarified that at the moment the location of the damage to the pipeline has been established, and measures have been taken to turn off the network.
The accident at the heating main in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk became known on the morning of February 15. It was noted that due to a pipe break, hot water accumulated under the snowdrifts. After the accident, almost 100 apartment buildings were left without heating. Repair work is being carried out on the heating main.
Earlier, on January 2, it was reported that in the city of Verkhnyaya Salda in the Sverdlovsk region, heating was turned off in 135 residential buildings as a result of a utility accident. Eight people and five pieces of equipment were involved in the repair work.
