Rastorguev spoke about plans to publish a collection of lyrical compositions

Russian musician, leader of the Lyube group Nikolai Rastorguev, who is celebrating his 65th birthday on February 15, at the press center of the Izvestia Information Center spoke about his plans in his work and admitted that he rarely listens to the songs of his band.

During the creative meeting, the artist spoke about the collection “Own”, which included the favorite songs of the Lyube group, chosen by Rastorguev himself.

According to the musician, he has been thinking about the idea of creating a collection of lyrical compositions for a long time, which would not include such hits as “Atas”, “Combat”, “Opera”, “Come on”, “Don’t play the fool, America”. Rastorguev clarified that he intends to release the songs on double vinyl.

“I chose what is close to me – I am reverent about the lyrics, and I wanted to publish such a compilation. Perhaps it’s time. As we age, we become more sentimental. Once you have to start, ”said the artist.

He also explained that the old, tube sound is superior to modern digital recording.

“If you take the old sound – tube microphones and so on, as it sounds and is recorded, it cannot be compared with digital technologies, it is such a high-quality sound,” Rastorguev said.

The musician said that for the collection he did not rewrite old compositions and make remakes.

The singer admitted that he rarely listens to the group’s songs and does not watch his concerts. He explained that it is often unpleasant for him to watch his actions on stage and it is unusual to see himself from the side, from this he experiences “Spanish shame”.

Festive concerts of the Lyube group will be held in the capital’s Crocus City Hall and on February 26 at the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall in St. Petersburg.
