An employee of the Center for Proton Medicine in Prague, Jiří Kubeš, on February 15, named the most seemingly non-obvious signs of the formation of a cancerous tumor in the head and neck. This was reported on the website of the newspaper Express.
According to him, a cancerous tumor of the head and neck very often develops in the nose, neck or throat. There are not the most noticeable, but nonetheless key signs that people often do not pay attention to.
“For example, permanently blocked ears – a sensation similar to diving into a swimming pool, or persistent ear pain can be a sign of cancer in and around this area,” said Jiří Kubeš.
The specialist urged to pay close attention to the oral cavity. Pain in the gums and ulcers, white and red dots can also indicate the presence of cancer.
Due to the fact that people do not regard the above symptoms as warning signs, the early stages of many cases of infection are missed.
On February 3, Lyubov Drozdova, chief freelance specialist in medical prevention at the Russian Ministry of Health, gave advice on preventing the development of cancer. You need to eat at least 3 kg of vegetables per week and exercise daily.
Prior to that, on January 27, oncologist Rano Azimova listed the most common causes of breast cancer.
