Trump: Broken ceasefire in Middle East – but continue in force
The US President says both sides did not adhere to the agreement, but is particularly annoyed by Israel. He clearly comments on the location: with a swear word.
US President Donald Trump accused both of Iran and Israel to have broken the ceasefire that has just been closed – and then explain that it would continue to be in force. “I think both of them hurt them,” the Republican first said to journalists in Washington. However, he was not sure whether this had been done on purpose.
Only a short time later he said: Israel had given in and assured that Iran would no longer attack Iran. “All planes will reverse,” he wrote on Truth Social.
After twelve days of war, Trump had only announced the ceasefire a few hours earlier. “Please don’t violate it!” He wrote on Truth Social. Both warring parties confirmed the ceasefire.
“Don’t know what the fuck they’re doing”
In conversation with journalists before his departure to the NATO summit in the Hague, Trump then showed himself frustrated about the situation in the Middle East. “These guys have to calm down,” he said and later pushed after: “We have two countries that fought so long and so hard that they don’t know what the hell they are doing.” Trump used a dirty word in English, he literally said: “They don’t know what the fuck they’re doing.”
Trump mainly reproached Israel. “As soon as we had concluded the agreement, Israel came out and threw a load from bombs,” he said. “I’m not satisfied with Israel.” He was also not satisfied with Iran. But he was “really dissatisfied” about Israel’s actions.
Israel and Iran with mutual allegations
Shortly after entry into force, an Iranian rocket attack violated the ceasefire, according to Israel. Israel’s Minister of Defense Israel Katz then threatened Tehran with a tough reaction. Dead and injured on both sides

Trump had announced that Iran would initially let the weapons be silent for twelve hours, then Israel for twelve hours. After that, the war was ended. That would be Wednesday morning (MESZ).
