U.S. President Donald Trump draws a parallel at the end of the Second World War after the attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities-and reminds of the dropping of atomic bombs on Japan.
US President Donald Trump has drawn a parallel of atomic bombing over Japan to the US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. “If you look at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, you know that a war ended there too,” Trump said at his final press conference to the NATO summit in the Hague.
The background is doubts about the effectiveness of the attacks in Iran. Trump defends himself against reports from CNN and the “New York Times”. The two media reported to the US military secret service that the Iranian nuclear systems are less severely damaged than he and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump called the “fake news”.
In August 1945, the United States dropped the United States via Hiroshima and Nagasaki. An estimated 120,000 inhabitants were immediately killed in the crazy, a similarly high number later died of burns and consequences of the atomic radiation. To date, it has been the only nuclear weapons in a war.
