In the new month, pensioners can look forward to more money in the account. Which two professional groups also expect a plus in the wallet?
Especially during the holiday season, a little more money is just right in the account. Where there is more and what changes the July brings:
More money for pensioners
Pensioners receive 3.74 percent higher payments on July 1st. For example, the increase at a pension of 1,000 euros per month brings 37.40 euros more. For a standard pension with average earnings and 45 years of contribution, pension adjustment means an increase of 66.15 euros a month.
The compensation for the victims of the SED regime is also higher. The pension for former GDR prisoners increases by 70 euros to 400 euros per month.
More money in geriatric care
Employees in geriatric care get more money. The minimum wage per hour increases to 20.50 euros for nurses, for qualified nursing assistants to 17.35 euros and for nursing assistants to 16.10 euros.
Tax return by the end of July
The tax return for the calendar year 2024 must be submitted by July 31, 2025, as informed, among other things, the Bavarian State Office for Taxes. For people who can be advised for tax purposes, the deadline is extended to April 30, 2026. There are exceptions, among other things, for land and foresters.
Caring relatives get more flexibility. The services of preventive care and short -term care are summarized at a total calendar year of EUR 3,539.
The so -called preventive care can also be used without the relative having to have maintained the person to be cared for for six months. The prerequisite is that at least care level 2 was found. Reasons for a prevention can be, for example, illness or vacation of the carer – from care degrees 2, nursing care insurance steps in for the costs for a replacement.
More money for members of the Bundestag
There are higher payments for the 630 MPs in the Bundestag: on July 1, their diets increase by 5.4 percent to around 11,834 euros.
Environmental zone for boats in Amsterdam
Amsterdam collects in its new environmental zone for boats in the city center crossed by canopy: As early as April, only leisure ships are welcome that are powered by electrically or with hydrogen – as well as row boats. If you do not stick to the new rules, you have to expect fines from July 1st. Continuous waterways are not part of the new environmental zone.
