After his victory in the primaries of the US Democrats for the Mayor’s Office in New York City, the left candidate Zohran Mamdani is targeted by President Donald Trump. The 33-year-old MP in the state of New York was the great outsider in the fight for the nomination of the Democrats for the election and is now considered a new political shooting star. Because of his left -wing positions, he is not undisputed in his own party either.

The outcome of the choice this time uncertain

Mamdani, who describes himself as a democratic socialist, was born in Uganda and came to the USA with his parents from India, where he was naturalized. His mother is a director, his father professor. After the primary elections on June 24th, he had already declared himself the winner, the result was confirmed on Tuesday.
