Lachga’s spray cream is actually foaming, but young people are increasingly inhale the gas to get intoxicated. This and access to ko drops should be difficult.
Lachgas, which is increasingly consumed as a party drug, is to be banned for children and adolescents in Germany. The Federal Cabinet launched a draft law of Health Minister Nina Warken (CDU), the acquisition and possession for minors. In general, online trading and buying on automatic self-service machines are to be banned. The availability of chemical co-drops, some of which are used as “rape drug”, should also be significantly limited with the plans.
Warken said: “Supposedly harmless industrial emissions must no longer be misused.” Especially for children and adolescents, the consumption of laughing gas is associated with high risks – such as unconsciousness and up to permanent damage to the nervous system. The Federal Drug Commissioner Hendrik Streeck (CDU) warned that laughing gas is “not a harmless party gag”. One reason for increasing consumption in younger ones is the simple availability and the movement with flavors that contribute to trivialization.
Lachgas, i.e. stabil monoxide (N2O), has been on the advance as a party drug for some time. Consumers breathe the euphoric substance, which serves as a light narcotics for fears and pain in medicine, over balloons. “With intensive acute consumption, there is a risk of unconsciousness,” says the draft. If there are direct consumption, there was a risk of frosting and lung tissue injuries due to the cooling due to the cooling.

Limitations for the chemicals Gamma butyrolacton (GBL) and 1.4-bullyiol are also to come. They are known as K.-O. drops that can be placed in drinks. After a few minutes sacrifice becomes dizzy, you can lose consciousness. Perpetrators use the time for sexual offenses or to rob victims. According to the design, the substances based on certain quantities should fall under a “ban on dealing” for new psychoactive substances. The production, on the market and trade are forbidden.
Drugs as a therapy method: what happens in the body when you take MDMA, KETAMIN and LSD
LSD and Magic Mushrooms
Areas of application
After the psychodelic effects of substances such as lysergic diseasehylamide (LSD) or psilocybin, i.e. the active ingredient in Magic Mushrooms, initially applied primarily in private context to expansion of consciousness and in the party context, numerous studies are currently dealing with the potential of these intoxicants in the therapy context. The consciousness -expanding effect should therefore also be used in people with trauma, depression and addiction. However, the appealing therapy methods have not yet been officially approved in Germany. This has been the case in Australia since last year.
How does the drug work?
LSD is treated like serotonin by the brain, as it is very similar to the neurotransmitter of the structure. Serotonin helps to pass on information in the brain. LSD, however, has parts of the brain communicate with each other that usually have no connection. This creates the consumer impressions of the consumer. The whole brain works in full swing, which in turn can also lead to chaotic and confusing links. One of the most dangerous side effects of consumption is therefore a psychosis. Permanent consumption can also make mentally dependent because the serotonin intake is impaired.

Further
The draft now comes to the Bundestag to decide on the law. The new regulations should come into force three months after the announcement – for preparing changes in retail and machines as well as age tests. Warken’s predecessor Karl Lauterbach (SPD) had already presented a draft for sales bans, but it was no longer implemented. Some cities and countries therefore introduced their own regulations.
Exceptions for spray cream
Because the chemicals are used for other purposes, exceptions to sales bans are provided. In the case of laughing gas, cartridges with up to eight grams of filling quantities should remain on the market, which serve to foam whipped cream, for example. This also applies to prefabricated corn.
