On Wednesday, US officials relativized a Weiße Haus announced a stop of US arms deliveries to Ukraine. Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump “continues to offer robust options for the military support of Ukraine, which with his goal of ending this tragic war”.
The Ministry is examining its approach to achieving this goal and adapting it “without neglecting the military willingness of the United States and its priorities in defense,” said Parnell to journalists.
Trump still wants to deliver patriot rockets
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Tammy Bruce emphasized that it was not a “termination of the support for Ukraine or arms deliveries”. Trump has also explained that he was adhering to his commitment to delivery of patriot rockets, she said to journalists with a view to the US air defense system, which played an important role in the defense against Russian attacks on Ukraine.
The White House had announced on Tuesday that the United States would stop some important arms deliveries to Ukraine, which had been promised to the country attacked by Russia under the government of ex-President Joe Biden. Previously, US media had reported that Washington was concerned with a decline in his own ammunition stocks.
