The Ukrainian armed forces have bothered air traffic in parts of Russia with several drones. After Pulkowo Airport near St. Petersburg, air traffic was temporarily stopped at the largest Moscow airport Scheremetjewo, as the state news agency TASS reported. At Kirow, almost 800 kilometers northeast of Moscow, air traffic came temporarily to a standstill.
According to the Moscow Mayor Sergej Sobjanin, six Ukrainian drones were shot down on the approach to the Russian capital. Something similar was also reported from Kaluga, where seven drones were destroyed, according to the official presentation. At St. Petersburg, two drones were hit by the air defense. Russia did not provide any further effects such as possible hits through the Ukrainian drones.
