Diplomacy: China rejects Germany’s representation of laser use

After ordering the Chinese ambassador in Berlin because of the use of a laser against a German aircraft, Beijing rejects the representation of the federal government. Germany’s information did not match the facts known to the Chinese side, said Foreign Office Spokeswoman Mao Ning in Beijing.

According to Mao, China’s marine carried out escort surgery in the Gulf of Aden and in the waters from Somalia and complied with her responsibility to maintain security. Both sides should increase their exchange and avoid misunderstandings and misjudgments, she said.

Berlin orders ambassadors

Due to the incident from the beginning of July, which is at least a threatening gesture in the military, Germany had ordered the Chinese ambassador in Berlin.
