Thereupon, Drusian fighter had kidnapped Bedouins, which finally led to violence in the area.

The Ministry of Defense sent military units to end violence. Some of the troops fought on the side of the Bedouins, the observation site said. The government’s soldiers are obliged to protect the civilian population, the ministry said. “The restoration of security and stability in Suwaida is a common responsibility between the state and its citizens.” They work with the Druze leaders and the governor of Suwaida to calm the situation.
