In June, the German Maja T., delivered to Hungary, entered a hunger strike. It is said to have ended it now. A left-wing politician uses this for a claim.
Maja T., arrested in Hungary, ended her hunger strike after a media report. This was reported by the MDR on Monday from the non-binary person’s environment, who is in custody in Budapest. According to her father, Maja T. first informed users and doctors and then the German message about the decision on Monday morning.
A spokesman for the Federal Foreign Office said in Berlin at noon that the information would currently be checked. The German side is under discussion with the Hungarian government on the “high -ranking” case.
Maja T. was arrested in Berlin in December 2023. The reason was the accusation of the Hungarian authorities that Maja T. attacked members of the right -wing extremists in Budapest in February 2023 together with other anti -fascist activists.
Maja T. was delivered to Hungary
In June 2024, delivery to Hungary followed – regardless of an ongoing urgent procedure in front of the Federal Constitutional Court, which then prohibited the delivery immediately after the transfer has been transferred. Maja T. then entered a hunger strike in June this year.
The left-wing European politician Martin Schirdewan, according to the information about the end of the hunger strike, demanded that the federal government must “take care of Maja T. immediately to Germany”. It is “inexplicable that the Federal Foreign Office and Foreign Minister WadePhul have so far hardly become active in order to correct the existing injustice”.
