Russia continues attacks regardless of Trump’s ultimatum

Trump puts Putin a deadline. Apparently unimpressed by this, Russia continues to attack Ukrainian cities. The US President makes it clear which weapon system he does not want to deliver to Kyiv.

Regardless of the ultimatum of US President Donald Trump to Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin, Russia attacks destinations in Ukraine with undiminished hardness. According to authorities, at least two civilians were killed by Russian attacks in the East Ukrainian area of Charkiw. In the south -eastern city city of Krywyj Rih, drones and at least one rocket occurred as a result of Russian attacks. Meanwhile, Trump made it clear that the Ukraine does not want to provide long -range missiles.

Trump had recently not only announced arms deliveries for Ukraine, but also set a deadline on Monday: if there was no deal in the efforts to end the Russian war against Ukraine within 50 days, the USA would collect high tariffs against Russia’s trading partner. Russia criticized the announced arms deliveries and threatened sanctions and rejected them as harmful to the peace efforts.

Trump: Selenskyj should not aim at Moscow

In the meantime, Trump said when asked if he was ready to provide Ukraine long -range missiles: “No, that is not our intention.” The Republican was also asked whether Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj Moscow or other destinations should be targeted in Russia. Trump replied: “No, he shouldn’t aim at Moscow”.

The US President was faced with these questions after the “Financial Times” had reported that Trump had encouraged Ukraine to attack attacks deep in the Russian hinterland. During a phone call with Selenskyj, he asked whether Kiev Russia’s capital Moscow or the second largest city in the country, St. Petersburg, could meet if the USA delivered long -distance weapons, the newspaper wrote, citing two people familiar with the conversation.

Several US media then cited Trump’s spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt with the statement that Trump only asked one question, but did not call for further killings. When asked why he gave Putin for another 50 days to continue his war against Ukraine, Trump replied: “I don’t think that 50 days are very long.” In addition, something can happen earlier.

In the evening (local time), the Republican also said to journalists with a view to the Ukraine War that no American soldiers would be used on site. He had not spoken to Putin since his announcement on Monday, Trump said on request.

Power failure in the Ukrainian city after Russian attack

Russia continued his attacks on Ukraine at night. According to the public prosecutor’s office, at least two civilians were killed in the Charkiw area, and two more were injured. In the village of Prykolotne in the district of Kupjansk, a man was killed by a remote -controlled drone. A second man died in the associated district town as a result of a Russian attack.

The front line runs just a few kilometers from Kupjansk. Before the Russian march of February 2022, more than 26,000 people lived in the city.

There were also drone attacks in the big city of Charkiw itself. At least three people were injured, said the area military governor, Oleh Synjehubow, at Telegram. The aim of the attacks was a civilian company in the city’s city.

The Military Department Head Olexander Wilko said on Telegram that there were power failures in the big city of Krywyj Rih after Russian attacks. “There were about 20 impacts,” he wrote. The water supply will be switched to generators. He warned of insufficient water pressure on higher floors. The Ukrainian President Selenskyj comes from the industrial city, which had more than 600,000 inhabitants before the Russian invasion.

In Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko also warned of attacks. The air defense workers are in use, people should remain in shelters, he wrote on Telegram.

Due to the danger from drone attacks, air alarm had been triggered in the majority of the Eastern European country. Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for almost three and a half years. The Russian military repeatedly attacks systems that are important for the power supply.

Kellogg: “America First” Model for Ukraine

Meanwhile, after a meeting with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrij Sybiha on Tuesday, the US special envoy Keith Kellogg in Kiev wrote in Kiev on Tuesday that they had discussed how the USA and Ukraine could work together to end the war under conditions that contribute to a permanent peace. “The United States support peace through strength-and we help Ukraine to achieve an” America First “model for their own country.”

Kellogg arrived in Kiev on Monday for a lasting visit to the Ukraine. Above all, he wants to get an idea of the current situation.
