Kremlin complains about Europe and Ukraine, Kyiv changes government

Russia accuses NATO countries of militarism and Ukraine’s willingness to negotiate – and continues to shoot the neighboring country with drones. Meanwhile, the course for a change is set in Kyiv.

The Kremlin has blamed Brussels and Kiev for the war against Ukraine that started by Russia more than three years ago. Spokesman Dmitri Peskow accused European countries of open militarism. These gave up huge amounts for weapons to continue to fuel the war in Ukraine, he said. “Against the background of such an insane emotional state on the European continent, it is extremely difficult to predict anything,” he said.

At the same time, he recalled the Russian nuclear doctrine that was recently rewritten. There it should be clearly stated that the “stirring” of non -Atomar states on enemy actions against Russia due to nuclear powers as aggression.

Nuclear powers in Europe are Great Britain and France. The Russian leadership had expressed nuclear threats several times since the beginning of the war chief Vladimir Putin ordered by Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin to prevent the West from supporting the attacked country.

Mediation efforts have not been progressing for months

US President Donald Trump had already proposed an unconditional ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in March to start peace negotiations. While Kyiv accepted the demand for pressure from Washington, the offer in Moscow met with rejection. Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin founded this with fears that Ukraine would use such a break of fire to upgrade and reorganize the troops.

Political observers, on the other hand, see behind Putin’s unwillingness to end the fighting, the calculation of being able to exert extreme pressure on Kiev in negotiations. So far, Russia has not demonstrated the willingness to compromise in the discussions that have been running since May. Moscow remains with his maximum demands – to the increasing anger of the US president.

Moscow: We are waiting for a new appointment proposal

Since Trump announced new arms deliveries for Ukraine and threatened punitive tariffs for Russia’s trading partner, Moscow has been trying to demonstrate his willingness to dialogue with new allegations to Ukraine. Russia is waiting for an appointment proposal from Kiev for days from the Kremlin. Now Peskow even called on the international community to stop the Ukrainians on new negotiations.

The fighting continues to run unchanged. During the night, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with around 400 drones. 15 people were injured.

From Kiev’s point of view, the current break in the conversations is also explained by a change of government. The Ukrainian Parliament, the top rada, has just approved the resignation of the cabinet around Prime Minister Denys Schmyhal. 261 MPs voted for the dismissal of the government for 4 abstentions and no vote against.

The new government is to be confirmed on Thursday. She is said to be led by 39-year-old Julia Swyrydenko, who was previously Minister of Economic Affairs and President of Vice. According to Defense Minister Rustem Umjerow, reporting will also leave the government in the course of cabinet conversion.

Previous Ukrainian negotiator before departure

His successor should become Schmyhal. Umjerow is considered a candidate for the post of the Ukrainian ambassador in Washington. His wife and children have officially lived in the United States since 2016. For Kiev, the ambassador’s post is a key position – the previous ambassador Oxana Markarowa has been exchanged because she said that the Trump administration accused the Democrats too much. The benevolence of the US government is of considerable importance for Ukraine.

Umjerow headed the Ukrainian negotiating delegation at the previous meetings in Istanbul. After his expected departure, Kyiv has to order a new chief negotiator before the conversations can go on. However, Selenskyj had repeatedly expressed doubts about the practicality of negotiations in the previous format and repeatedly pushed for a summit with Putin.
