Government spokesman Steffen Kornelius in Berlin had previously confirmed that the accreditations for the two Afghans were connected to the recently carried out deportation flight from Germany. The “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” had previously reported about it.


On Friday, 81 Afghans from Germany had been deported for the first time since the black and red government took office. Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) emphasized that there should be no diplomatic recognition of the Taliban. There were only so -called technical contacts with the involvement of the Golfemirate Qatar to prepare the deportation.




The Federal Government has no official relationships with the Islamist Taliban, which have been isolated internationally in Afghanistan since the summer of 2021 in Afghanistan.
