Pop singer Vicky Leandros declared Alice Weidel to be undesirable at a concert in Regensburg. The AfD boss was still in the castle and climbed with celebrities.
A visit by AfD boss Alice Weidel in Regensburg in connection with the castle festival there continues to strike waves. The 46-year-old received an invitation to the music festival from host Gloria Princess of Thurn and Taxis, in which various high-ranking artists appear from July 18 to 27. On Monday evening, pop singer Vicky Leandros was on stage. According to a “picture” report, this had explained that the AfD boss was “not welcome” when she received an invitation from Weidel’s invitation.
According to her spokesman Daniel Tapp, Weidel stayed away from the performance. “She had an invitation and then she decided not to go,” he said on Tuesday when asked. Weidel doesn’t like Leandos’ music
Weidel himself wrote at X, Gloria Princess of Thurn and Taxis she did not unload her, “I decided because of the theater not to go to the concert. I’m not a fan of this music anyway”. Instead, they spent a wonderful time in the private rooms of the castle together with good friends.
