Trump continues to pursue the shadow of Epstein. The situation in the morning

Donald Trump does not get rid of the Epstein affair, for Germany’s football women, the three Gaza options of the Chancellor-and more mental health in companies. That is important today.
Good morning, dear readers!
Donald Trump simply won’t get rid of the causa epstein. It is like chewing gum that sticks under his shoe sole. And the more he tries to get rid of it, the more panic he reacts. The US President would like to forget the affair. But always new, explosive details appear and throw a bad light on him.
A small recapitulation: During the election campaign, Trump promised to bring transparency in the case of the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who had systematically abused minors for many years. But not all files were published. Investigators and authorities said there were no secret list of prominent customers of Epstein, who died through suicide and not through murder, as conspiracy myths claimed. Trump’s Maga disciples who had hoped for transparency felt cheated-and began to turn away from their idol. Much to his anger.
Reports increase pressure on Donald Trump
And the situation continues to come to Trump. A report by the “Wall Street Journal” (WSJ) further heats the debate: Trump is said to have written Epstein in 2003 a obedible congratulatory letter in which he spoke of a “secret”. Trump denies and calls the allegations a “witch hunt”. The broadcaster CNN also published photos that show Epstein at Trump’s second wedding with Marla Maples 1993.
But it goes even further: According to “WSJ” and “New York Times”, US Justice Minister Pam Bondi Trump already informed in the spring that his name appeared in the Epstein files. Accordingly, Trump was also informed that many other top -class personalities in the documents are also mentioned. However, Bondi assured Trump that no new documents would be published. This sedative pill has apparently missed its effect.
It is conceivable that Trump’s name appears as a well -known Epstein’s investigative documents. This does not automatically follow a guilt. In court documents, it was also mentioned in an innocent connection.
But the rumor mill is bubbling more and Trump is increasingly trying to distract from the affair. So he accused his predecessor Barack Obama “betrayal” and choice manipulation. The White House claims that Obama had exaggerated the Russian interference in favor of Trump in 2016 to harm it. A spokesman for Obama rejected the allegations as a distraction maneuver.
Trump also uses drastic means on social media. On his Truth Social platform, he spread a manipulated video that Obama shows as a prisoner.
A US Federal Court in Florida meanwhile refused an application from the Ministry of Justice to publish jury protocols in the Epstein case. The government wanted to calm disappointed supporters. So the shot started back.
Whether Trump’s trailer swallow his attempts at distraction? Questionable. Because the President does not have great support among the Republicans: According to one, only 40 percent of Republicans support Trump’s dealings with the affair, while 36 percent reject him. Perhaps this is the greatest dissatisfaction within the party that Trump experienced as president, comments. In total, almost two thirds of the Americans reject Trump’s procedure.
The question remains: What else is slumbering in the Epstein files, which could bring Trump into even deeper difficulties? Will he be jeopardizing his political future? It is difficult to paint out how he should still manage to turn the mood. But Donald Trump has always managed to change the narrative in his favor.
German footballers miss the EM final
What a shame! How I would have loved to see the German footballers in the final of the European Championship. You deserve it. After a tough but exciting fight, the DFB team is subject to Spain 0-1. In the 113th minute, world footballer Aitana Bonmatí decides the game with her goal. The Spaniards are against England on Sunday.
Goalkeeper Berger took responsibility for the all -important goal, in which Bonmatí hit the short corner from an acute angle. “I take the blame. The short corner has to be, of course. I am all the more disappointed with myself. It should have been mine. I’m incredibly sorry for the team,” said the 34-year-old. But her teammates jump her right away and take her under protection.
Berger’s honesty and her strict look impress herself – especially because she kept outstanding in the tournament and was even considered the best goalkeeper in the competition. But putting my colleagues Christian Ewers and Nico Schnurr alone is not enough to rely on Berger’s glossy performance alone:
The three Gaza options of the Chancellor
The humanitarian location in the Gaza Strip is more than devastating. Israel’s approach is met with sharp criticism worldwide. The Netanyahu government also repelled the federal government. But the attitude towards Israel also divides the black-red coalition. The SPD is pushing Chancellor Merz into a harder course. But what options would the Chancellor have? The star-Politik bosses Veit Medick and Jan Rosenkranz analyze the situation in our “5-minute talk” podcast:

Something positive
In yesterday’s morning | Stern I reported on a study that shows how a four -day week strengthens our well -being and our mental and physical health. Today there is another pleasant message – but not at the four -day week. That would have been too good. Instead, more and more companies are focusing on the well -being of their employees and pay more attention to their mental health. This emerges from the about which the magazine reports. Many companies check their benefit programs. According to the study, 54 percent plan to redistribute their budgets, and 58 percent want to switch to providers with a better price-performance ratio. For 45 percent of companies, mental health has now priority, followed by retirement and health services with 36 percent each.
As “t3n” continues, this also shows that companies weight mental health more. Benefits in this area therefore rose by four percent to 46 percent.
