Israel in criticism
A vast majority of Germans have long been in favor of increasing the diplomatic pressure on Israel and urges the end of the war. According to a Forsa survey on behalf of the star 74 percent of Germans. 22 percent do not see it that way, four percent do not comment.
The opinion is clear across all population groups and political camps. Voters of the left (94 percent) and the Greens (88 percent) are most common for more pressure, but also the supporters of the government parties CDU/CSU and SPD see this (each 77 percent). It is only a little different with the AfD voters. They are majority for tightening the course to Israel (61 percent), but at least 37 reject this.
The data was collected by the market and opinion research institute Forsa for the Stern and RTL Germany on July 24th and 25th. Database: 1001 respondents. Statistical fault tolerance: +/- 3 percentage points. This means that the survey is representative.
