Life in Gaza is a daily struggle for survival. People have to process injuries and death of their relatives and friends, are difficult to traumatize mentally. Palestinians have to live in ruins, a place that offers protection against attacks, there is almost no one. The hygienic conditions are catastrophic: soap, diapers or bandages are as rare as food.
