Silver wedding: Schwesig shares wedding photo from year 2000
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s Prime Minister says again to her husband Stefan and shares private insights into Instagram. How did the politician get to know her husband?
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig raves about her husband Stefan in view of her silver wedding. “We said to each other 25 years ago. The best decision of my life,” wrote the SPD politician on the Instagram platform. She was grateful to share her life with him and her great two children. “Thank you for 25 happy years with so many beautiful moments and support in difficult situations.”
Schwesig shared a picture of her wedding from 2000. In another posting, the 51-year-old announced that she and her husband had “yes” to each other again. “A moment full of gratitude, trust and deep connection,” she writes, thanks for the congratulations.
In the picture, Schwesig wears a simple white dress and holds a white bouquet in his hand. Her husband shows herself in a blue suit.
Schwesig is a graduate finance economist, she said she got to know her husband in a further training. The couple lives in Schwerin.
