He determined against Trump – now you want to get him there

As a special investigator, Jack Smith was involved in two procedures against Donald Trump. In the United States, he is accused of having wanted to influence the presidential election.

According to a media report, investigations against the former special investigator Jack Smith, who had headed two investigative proceedings against Donald Trump, have been taken into account in the United States. The special investigator’s office told the New York Times on Saturday that it determined it against Smith due to a possible violation of a federal law that prohibits federal officials during their working hours.

The Republican Senator Tom Cotton reported that the authority reported that it was investigating whether Smith’s actions aimed to influence the election last year. The authority, which monitors the behavior of federal officials, initially did not respond to a request from the AFP news agency.

Donald Trump rejected Jack Smith’s allegations

Smith was appointed special investigator in 2022. He had investigated in two criminal proceedings against Trump: due to suspicion of election manipulation and conspiracy for fraud on the United States – and because of the storage of secret government files in his private work in Florida. The right -wing populist rejected both allegations and presented them as politically motivated.

Report of the special investigator: Trump’s re -election prevented his conviction

After Trump’s victory in the presidential election in November, Smith applied for the attitude of both procedures. He justified this by the fact that it was common practice of the US judiciary not to pursue incumbent presidents. Smith left the Ministry of Justice a few days before Trump’s re -plug it in the White House. He previously came to the Republican who had threatened to dismiss Smith.
