Should the Ukrainians live in Germany to be deleted the citizens’ allowance? When asked, the Federal Minister of Economics answers more fundamentally.
Federal Minister of Economics Katherina Reiche (CDU) is due to the increased costs of a quick reform of the citizens’ allowance. This has been agreed with the SPD in the coalition, said the CDU politician on the sidelines of a visit to the semiconductor group Infineon in Dresden.
“It has to apply that work is more worthwhile than staying at home,” said Reiche. “Those who go to work must have the feeling that in the end they have more in their pockets than those who don’t.” Everyone who could do this would have to participate in the labor market “and also earn part of what they need to live”.
When asked about the latest proposal by Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU), the Minister of Economy did not go directly. Söder had asked to grant Ukrainian refugees in Germany, but benefits such as asylum seekers. These are lower and are often granted as benefits in kind or by payment card.
Kretschmer for discussion “Without foam in front of the mouth”
Sachsen’s Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU) said at the same question at the appointment with the same question as to whether he supports Söder’s proposal: “I want to tell you the following to the Ukrainians: I think that the same conditions for everyone, for locals, for asylum seekers or for people who come from Ukraine. Those who can work must work.” If you are in need, you want to help you in the future.
Don’t you want to miss anything from the star?
Personally, competent and entertaining: Editor -in -chief Gregor Peter Schmitz sends you the most important content from the star-Credaction and arranges what Germany talks about.
The quota of those seeking protection from Ukraine who are in the works is much higher in France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic or Poland than in Germany, said Kretschmer. “That is why you have to stand in peace of this discussion in peace without foam.”
