Germany moves five fighter planes to Poland

The People’s Type Combat jets are intended to support the Polish armed forces in monitoring airspace. A use of several weeks is planned.
The German Air Force moves five Eurofighter fighter planes to Poland for several weeks. From Tuesday, the JETS of the Eurofighter type will be stationed on the Minsk Mazowowiecki military airfield and also start from there, said a spokesman for the German press agency’s Air Force. “Bild” had previously reported.
According to the Air Force, use at the airfield east of Warsaw should take almost a month. Around 150 Bundeswehr soldiers are on site.
