US President Trump and Kremlin chief Putin draw changes on the Ukrainian map before one summit. Ukraine says: Without us, this war does not end.

The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj rejects the regional detections that are emerging in plans in Russia and the United States for an end to the Ukraine War. “The answer to the territorial questions of Ukraine is in the constitution of Ukraine. Nobody will deviate, and nobody can deviate,” he said in a video message. “The Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier.”

According to media reports, Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin has asked US President Donald Trump before a summit that Russia will receive full control over the Eastern Ukrainian areas of Donetsk and Luhansk. This would mean the disclosure of several thousand square kilometers and strategically important cities through the Ukrainian army.

In Washington, Trump spoke of an exchange of areas that were previously held either by Russian or Ukrainian troops, “to both sides”. He did not give details.

Trump and Putin are planning their summit for August 15th in the northern US state of Alaska. “Very far away from this war, which rages in our country, against our people, and which cannot be ended without us anyway, without Ukraine,” criticized Selenskyj. Ukraine has been defending itself against a large -scale Russian invasion for almost three and a half years.
