BAS: Trust in Spahn according to judge election cland

The burst judge election caused the coalition to hide the summer break. And the topic has not yet been done, says the SPD leader. One focuses in particular.

Even after the withdrawal of judge candidate Frauke Brosius-Gersdorf, SPD boss Bärbel Bas still sees a clear need for conversation with the Union. The unsuccessful election of the constitution and the behavior of the coalition partner “is also not a little thing for me and that has not yet been clarified,” said Bas in the “Report from Berlin” of the ARD in the summer interview.

“It left wounds to say it in my faction and party. And I now expect that we will clarify the cooperation,” said the SPD chair. The confidence in Union faction leader Jens Spahn is “struck” that the SPD could not simply pass the agenda.

The election of three constitutional judges in the Bundestag had burst because Spahn could no longer guarantee the previously agreed approval of the Union as SPD candidate Brosius-Gersdorf. MPs from the CDU and CSU rejected the Jura professor primarily because of her attitude to abortions. The SPD sees behind all this one disinformation campaign on social media. Brosius-Gersdorf finally pulled her willingness to candidacy back.
