Donald Trump’s online service Truth Social has introduced a new AI tool. But that has his own opinion-the US President should be anything else.

Donald Trump’s social network Truth Social has introduced a new AI tool for users. But the results of artificial intelligence should not like the Republican. According to the “Washington Post”, the Chatbot contradicts the US President on central political questions.
In a test run, the software said, among other things, that the presidential election of 2020 was not stolen. In addition, tariffs would not boost the stock market and the cryptoinvestment of the Trump family would be a conflict of interest. As of January 6, 2021, it is said that the “uprising” in the US capitol was violent and is related to Trump’s “baseless claims of extensive voting fraud”.
The Trump Media and Technology Group, owner of Truth Social, had presented the tool last Wednesday and announced a “public beta test”. It was developed by the US company Perplexity. The chat bot called Truth Search Ai is available to all users free of charge and is prominently placed in the sidebar of the website.
AI search engines such as Truth Search Ai are trained with large amounts of data from the Internet. According to the newspaper, the answers received by the “Washington Post” often refer to conservative media sources.
Administration by Donald Trump has not yet taken a position
A Perplexity spokesman said Truth Social Probably uses a “selection of sources” function to limit websites to which the AI tool accesses. However, you don’t know what these are. “This is your decision for your audience,” said the spokesman. “Our focus is only on the development of precise AI.” The White House refused to comment.
For political scientist David Karpf, the case shows the limits of political history. “You can actively say that what was true yesterday is no longer true, and you can justify this with great power,” said George Washington University’s professor. “But you can’t change what has actually been said in recent years and is archived somewhere.”
