Donald Trump brought a message to Vladimir Putin for the summit in Alaska. She comes from Trump’s wife. In it she is committed to the children in Ukraine.
First Lady Melania Trump has given her husband a letter with a warning to his husband with a Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin in Alaska to give peace and to protect the children. Melania Trump posted a report by the US broadcaster Fox News with the full letter on her X account.
In the letter that Trump is said to have given Putin, she mentions Ukraine by no word. However, in pictorial words, it describes the tragic situation of children in war zones and appeals to the responsibility of the Russian president to protect the innocence of these children. You would have deserved this regardless of your place of residence, government and ideology.
Putin is said to have read Melania’s letter immediately
“Dear President Putin, every child has the same quiet dreams in his heart,” begins the letter published by Fox News to the Russian President. “They dream of love, opportunities and security with danger.” In today’s world, some children would have to carry with them, surrounded by “darkness”, but a “quiet laugh”. “Mr. Putin, you can restore your melodic laugh alone,” writes Melania Trump from Slovenia.
“By protecting the innocence of these children, they will do more than only serve Russia – they will serve humanity,” says the letter signed by First Lady. “Such a daring idea crosses every human division, and you, Mr. Putin, can implement this vision with a stroke today. It’s time.”

Fox News reported that Putin read the letter immediately after President Trump presented him with the letter. The word Ukraine does not appear in the letter.
Summit between Trump and Putin ends without success
Putin has been an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court in the Hague since March 2023 – mainly because of the allegation of being responsible for the kidnapping of thousands of children from occupied Ukrainian areas. Unlike the European Union or Canada, neither the United States nor Russia recognize the Court of Justice. Washington was therefore not obliged to enforce the arrest warrant for Putin’s visit. Putin had entered US floor again for the first time in years at the summit on Friday.
The summit of the two heads of state in the US state of Alaska on Friday had ended without tangible result. On Saturday, however, Trump deployed from demands for a ceasefire in Ukraine and instead called for a comprehensive “peace agreement”. The US President approached the Russian position. Putin strictly rejects a ceasefire.
Trump had threatened Russia extensive sanctions if the country did not hire its attacks on Ukraine. After the meeting with Putin, there was no longer any talk.
